Ian’s background in financial services began as an institutional equity analyst in 1980. Since that time, he has become a licensed Portfolio Manager with a practice focused on helping high net worth clients manage their wealth through a rigorous value based investment strategy.
Antoine is a portfolio manager at Raymond James Investment Counsel Ltd. with over 20 years of experience in asset management, looking after both individual client portfolios and managing a global multi-strategy alternative fund.
Antoine is a regular speaker for the Montreal Exchange and the Options Industry Council (OIC) at conferences or options training sessions. Antoine has contributed for many years to the development of the derivatives and alternative investment community. Antoine is certified in derivatives trading, is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®), and a Certified Investment Manager (CIM®). Formerly a member of the Canadian national mountain biking team, he has contributed for over 20 years as a volunteer for the Montreal Children's Hospital. Antoine was a long time committee member of Pedal for Kids, one of the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation most successful fundraiser for over 25 years.
Craig brings over 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry to the table. Over his career, he has held leadership roles in a variety of organizations that have focused on meeting the needs of both individual and institutional investors. He is the founder of Lexicon Financial Group and established a relationship with Raymond James Investment Counsel in August of 2020.
Craig has extensive experience writing and speaking about issues related to the wealth management business. He holds the Chartered Investment Manager, Certified Agricultural Farm Advisor and Registered Graphic Designer professional designations.
Since 2020, Craig is a member of the Development Advisory Committee for Prosper Canada (a national charity dedicated to expanding economic opportunity for people with low incomes in Canada).
Originally from Winnipeg, Craig lives in Toronto with his wife and two children. He is an active D-1 certified competitive youth hockey coach. Except during the pandemic, of course. Craig also speaks French.
Chris Blumas is a portfolio manager at Raymond James Investment Counsel. He is a passionate investor with extensive portfolio management experience and strong primary research capabilities across a wide range of industries and asset classes.
Chris’s career in the investment industry began in 2001. He joined Raymond James in 2021. Prior to joining Raymond James, Chris spent six years as a portfolio manager at two boutique wealth management firms dedicated to meeting the needs of high net worth individuals and their families. Before that, Chris spent almost five years as an analyst and portfolio manager responsible for researching and selecting Canadian companies for the award-winning Ivy Team at Mackenzie Investments.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto. He is a CFA charterholder, a Chartered Investment Manager, and has been featured on the Business News Network (BNN) and in the Canadian Press.
When Chris is not researching companies and communicating with clients, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth baseball, and playing squash.
Before joining Raymond James Investment Council Ltd. as a portfolio manager, Marc-André worked in the industry for 20 years as a financial planner, financial advisor and portfolio manager. Marc-André is also a lecturer at Sherbrooke University in the Master of Finance program. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA®) as well as the Financial Planner in Quebec (F. Pl.).
Corinne graduated from Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in April 2018 and joined Marc-André at Raymond James soon after completing her studies. She completed the first two exams of the CFA program and is now a candidate for the third and final exam of the program. Corinne now acts as Assistant Portfolio Manager. She assists Marc-André with portfolio management, financial analyzes and communications with clients.
John has been providing clients with expert advice since 1998. Building on his Economics degree, John has achieved industry designations including Canadian Investment Management (CIM), Financial Management Advisor (FMA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and the financial industry’s highest honour, Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). The FCSI recognizes professionals for their high standard of advanced education, ethical conduct and industry experience. John is also fully licensed to advise and implement life and living benefits insurance strategies.
As a 23 year veteran of the investment industry, I bring the experience of an advisor that has successfully advised families through the ups and downs of the market cycle.
My objectives are to fully understand each client’s goals and risk profile, and create a successful investment plan that effectively incorporates the most appropriate investments, balanced between risk and reward. My philosophy, investment management discipline and client service processes contribute to the success of my clients. My investment strategy adjusts with current events and is consistent with the principles of Mr. Warren Buffett.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, home renovations and classic car mechanics. I am also an active squash player, scuba diver, cyclist and I love watching soccer.
Jeff has worked in the financial industry for over 30 years, beginning as a Foreign Exchange and Money Market Trader for a variety of major international banks. In 1986, Jeff became a Financial Advisor with a major Canadian investment brokerage firm. Over the past 30 plus years, Jeff has successfully achieved the designations of Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, Canadian Investment Manager and Designated Portfolio Manager. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, (B.A Economics, 1979).
Jeff was also an instructor for the Intelligent Investing series of seminars for the Investor Learning Centre from 1997 until 2001. The Investor Learning Centre was a not-for-profit, public educational organization sponsored by the Canadian Securities Institute. In 1998, Jeff became one of five semi-finalists for the coveted I.D.A. Distinction Award sponsored by the Investment Dealers Association of Canada, now known as IIROC.
Jeff is married to Annalee and they have three grown children (Eric, Elizabeth and Stephanie). Jeff has been involved in the Jewish community and currently is the Governor of the Tel Aviv University, Past Chairman of the Canadian Friends of Tel Aviv University, Governor of Tel Aviv University, Former Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the Harold Green Jewish Theatre and Past Board Chair of BBYO Toronto.
Norman Levine, a Chartered Financial Analyst since 1980, is a Portfolio Manager at BrookWagman Private Wealth Raymond James Investment Counsel. Born in Toronto Ontario, Mr. Levine graduated from York University with a BA, and from Syracuse University with an MBA. He has 47 years of investment experience as an account executive, research analyst, portfolio manager, and investment strategist at Merrill Lynch Royal Securities, Crown Life Insurance, Canada Trust, Barclays McConnell, BMO Nesbitt Burns, and Portfolio Management Corporation. His community activities include volunteer work for the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, Chairman of the Investment Advisory Committee of the United Jewish Welfare Fund of Greater Toronto, and a member of the Professional Advisory Committee of the Jewish Federation. Norman is a director of Ve’ahavta, A Jewish Humanitarian Response To Poverty as well as a director of Maple Downs Golf and Country Club. Norman is also a member of the investment committees for Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital fund, and the Greater Toronto Scouts Foundation endowment fund. He is a former director of the Toronto CFA Society. Norman regularly appears on BNN Bloomberg and was recently featured in the book “Market Masters” by Robin Speziale.
Steve is the Portfolio Manager at Tenth Street Wealth and brings 40+ years of financial market experience to the team. He started his career as a senior financial analyst at one of Canada’s largest banks. He has been in capital markets since 1980 involved in financial analysis, institutional coverage, and trading in equities and fixed-income securities, managing derivatives departments focusing particularly on risk management and hedging. In addition, he has provided financing advice to international infrastructure projects working with the World Bank, International Finance Corporation and European Investment Bank.
Steve’s primary objective is to manage risk and deliver long-term returns by focusing on fundamental, technical, and statistical analysis to implement investment strategies and select individual stocks and bonds.
Steve is a graduate of McGill University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance. He is also a certified Chartered Investment Manager (CIM).
